Can a cell phone reverse listing directory be created and made available to the public? Just a few years ago some cell phone providers talked about coming up with this where the cell phone providers would share their cell phone numbers and have a directory.

However, the concern about telemarketers and privacy caused the idea to be abandoned for now.  Putting together a reverse look up for cell phones directory requires plenty of effort, since the information has to be compiled manually from millions of different records.

The effort that it takes to comprise a directory for reverse look up for cell phones and to keep it current is a monumental task.  Stay away from free services because most likely you will not get the information you need.  Services that charge you a fee may not have a complete directory.

So where do you go from here.  Do not be discouraged there are reverse cellular phone directories that exist with large databases to give you the results you need.  The key is knowing where to find the reliable ones.
